Final Update on CHPC Downtime

April 3rd, 2015 at 9:45 p.m.

Apexarch is now available for use.

Please let us know if you need any assistance with getting your batch scripts migrated to make use of slurm.

Downtime recap:

April 2nd, 2015 at 5:07 p.m.

All clusters with the exception of Apexarch (this is the protected environment cluster) are now available for use. This includes tangent, for those of you who have been using this cluster.

Information on slurm can be found at https://www.chpc.utah.edu/documentation/software/slurm.php

We are in the process of changing over the cluster guides to remove the PBS material and replace it with SLURM information.

Please let us know if you have any issues by sending email to issues@chpc.utah.edu.

April 2nd, 2015 at 3:17 p.m.

The network connectivity to CHPC resources has been restored.

The updates on swasey and kachina have been completed and users are free to resume use of these resources.

All users who mount chpc file systems on their local machines should now have access these file systems via their samba/cifs mounts. Work is still ongoing on the CHPC HPC clusters. PLEASE remain off of the cluster interactive nodes until we send a note saying that the clusters are ready for use. Additional information will be sent at that time.
