Registration now open for a Workflows Workshop August 9-10, 2016

CHPC will be a satellite site for a new HPC workshop on Workflows to be held on August 9 and 10, 9am-3pm MDT each day. The location of the workshop is still to be determined, based on enrollment.

This workshop will provide an overview of workflows. This will include a general session on the value of workflows and how they can enhance research productivity. This will be followed by presentations and hands-on sessions with six different workflows. The objective is to assist the community in understanding the capabilities of these various workflows and to get people started with their usage.

- Galaxy – presented by Dave Clements, Johns Hopkins University
- Makeflow/WorkQueue - presented by Nicholas Hazekamp, University of Notre Dame
- Pegasus – presented by Karan Vahi and Mats Rynge, Information Sciences Institute
- RADICAL Cybertools – presented by Shantenu Jha, Rutgers University
- Swift - presented by Mike Wilde, Argonne National Laboratory
The presentations will be followed by a question and answer period to address outstanding questions from the community.
