In this talk we will introduce the Intel software development tools, which are aimed at improving efficiency in parallel application development. We start with Intel Advisor XE, which involves thread design and prototyping. This will be followed by a discussion of Intel Inspector XE, a memory and threading debugger, and Intel VTune Amplifier XE, a performance profiler. We will conclude with Intel Trace Analyzer and Collector, a MPI analyzer and profiler.
