ACCESS HPC Monthly Workshop: OpenACC

The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center is pleased to present an OpenACC GPU programming workshop, sponsored by ACCESS.

OpenACC is the accepted standard using compiler directives to allow quick development of GPU capable codes using standard languages and compilers. It has been used with great success to accelerate real applications within very short development periods. This workshop assumes knowledge of either C or Fortran programming. It will have a hands-on component using the Bridges-2 computing platform at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center.

The workshop will  run Wednesday,  November 13th from 9am to 3pm, and will be remotely broadcast to an on-campus location, in INSCC 407. Participants are required to be present on site for this workshop. Local teaching assistant will be present on site to help with the content taught and answer any questions.

Participants need to have the free ACCESS account. Once you have an ACCESS ID, please send email (indicating your ACCESS ID and which site you wish to attend) to Tom Maiden at tmaiden@psc.edu by Monday, November 11 at Noon Eastern time.

The workshop desciption, along with links to the agenda and slides are can be found at PSC's webpage for the workshop.

Please, note that we reserve right to not hold the workshop if the enrollment is low. In that case we'll offer recordings of previous workshop and private consultations if requested.
